Tap into your creative side with our Beginners Candle Making Workshop where you will learn how to make your very own natural botanical candles with Rock & Rose Rituals.

Time: approx 90 mins to 2 hours

During the class Lisa will take you step-by-step through the candle making process. You will have the opportunity to smell and test a selection of fragrance and essential oils. She'll share hints and tips on the creation of the perfect fragrance for you/your loved one and for the important bit, you will make your very own 180ml scented coconut and rapeseed wax candles. The cost of the workshop is inclusive of all materials.

All attendees learn:

The description of commonly used waxes and their pros and cons.

An Introduction to coconut and rapeseed wax, it’s benefits and a discussion on the different types of wax within the industry.

An overview of the different types of wicks.

Discussion about the different scent options of fragrance oils, essential oils and dried flower petals.

Step by step guide to the process of producing a container candle including measuring correct quantities of wax and scents required.

Choose, mix and measure own scent combinations.

Create and hand pour a 50hr hour container candle.

Discussion on how to fix ‘problems’ when making candles.

All workshop attendees will also receive a 20% discount to use in store on any Rock & Rose Rituals products and services.

Workshop is hosted in our magical workshop and store in Upton Country Park in Poole, Dorset and is ideal for birthday or hen parties, team building days or simply a lovely afternoon spent in and around Poole with friends. We host a minimum of 2 persons and maximum of 8.
