Join Lisa & Monika, Principle Potion Masters at Rock & Rose Rituals for their Masterclass in magic, where Lisa will be sharing all she learned during her time living with and amongst the Faeries and the Mermaids on the magical Isle of Skye in Scotland and Monika sharing all the magic and mysteries from the her Tales from Birkiwood universe.
This is a highly sensory, creative workshop where your children will have access to many of the very special items gifted to Lisa from the Dragons, Faeries, Gnomes, Elven, the Tree, Air and Water Nymphs, Unicorns and of course the magical Merpeople to create their very own magic potions for them to take home in a unique potion bottle.
They will also receive a Potion Master certificate upon graduation plus a very special gift directly from the Faeries, Dragons, Unicorns or Mermaids, containing more magic for them to continue their quest into these magical realms at home.
There will be rhymes, spells, stories and most importantly of all... expect the unexpected!

Pricing:
Potions Only: £180 - 2 hour party: 1 hour masterclass and an hour to enjoy food and birthday cake.
Potions & Magic Wand Making: £272 - 3 hour party: 2 hours of masterclasses and 1 hour to enjoy food and birthday cake.
Our standard package is for up to 8 young wizards and 2 hours use of our magical space of our space (1 hour masterclass, one hour for food/cake). If opting for potions and wand making, you have the space for up to 3 hours, with 2 hours of entertainment.
Includes all materials, equipment and props and each child gets to keep and take home their own potion in a special potion bottle, a spell card and certificate.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
We can accommodate numbers over 8 and this will require the hire of an additional Potion Master @£40ph plus £16 per each additional child
Wand Making @ £11.50 per child
Faerie Door Making @ £11.50 per child
Dragon Egg making @ £11.50 per child
Crystal party bags @ £8.50 each
Lunch/snacks can be brought in yourself or lunch bags can be provided by Upton Park Cafe at a discounted rate, please ask for prices

Lisa's background prior to Rock & Rose Rituals was that of a nurse at Great Ormond Street children's hospital and then later as a children's entertainer on holiday parks in the New Forest, Wales and Scotland. Prior to opening Rock & Rose, her 1st business, Squid & Pear was a specialist film and tv on-set caterer for the likes of Jamie Oliver and his TV shows, Warner Film, Netflix and Google.
Monika was a SEN teacher for 10 years before creating Tales from Birkiwood, a magical storytelling school and joining Lisa to create the most magical experiences in Dorset.

What a truly magical Birthday party we’ve just had! My 6yr old daughter and her friends absolutely LOVED their Magic Potions Workshop. Lisa was so warm, engaging and natural with the kids. They took to her instantly and were hooked right from the start. Lisa tailored the theme to suit their interests and personalities perfectly. A welcome letter and gift from the unicorns to the Birthday Girl at the start of the session was just one of the thoughtful details that made the workshop so special. The space is decorated beautifully with such a lovely atmosphere that all added to the magic. The ingredients were visually inviting, lots of different colours and each with their own origin story. How we didn’t end up with 7 bottles of brown liquid at the end of it is beyond me! Lisa clearly knows what she is doing when it comes to mixology! Everyone loved their finished potion to take home, and thoroughly enjoyed the process of making it. And pouring the leftovers on the floor at the end so their creations became part of the magic of the workshop space was a big hit with all the kids! The party guests were thrilled with their crystal party bags! The necklace with interchangeable crystals was the perfect memento of the day. We love how each child can personalise it to suit their mood and personality. A unique gift and no plastic tat in sight! The kids are still buzzing and the journeys home were filled with questions about when we can come back again. A wonderful experience that I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much Lisa.
